Our Story
Creating Wings was born from resilience, hope, and the unwavering belief that every woman deserves the power to rise—no matter where she starts.
Over a decade ago, I began working with orphan girls at Mamata Bal Sadan, founded by Sindhutai Sapkal, one of India’s most selfless humanitarians. With my young daughter by my side, we spent our weekends teaching art and technology, celebrating milestones, and nurturing dreams. That experience deeply shaped both of us. It taught us that while wings may be broken by circumstance, they can always be rebuilt—with love, support, and opportunity.
Our story is also personal. As a single mother who overcame emotional abuse and societal pressure—from being asked to undergo an illegal gender test during pregnancy to escaping toxic relationships—I intimately understand the fears and struggles that many women silently endure. But I also know the strength that rises from within when you're determined to change your story.
That strength became Creating Wings—an AI-powered platform built to empower women with personalized guidance on financial independence, career choices, legal help, emotional wellness, and more. It’s not just an app. It’s a safe space. A voice that listens. A tool that educates, uplifts, and transforms.
Today, my daughter and I continue our journey—not just as survivors, but as builders. We are creating wings for others—so that every woman, no matter her past, can fly toward her future.
